Hello! I'm Jill, Founder and Director of Education for The Childcare Trainers I'm a qualified early years specialist with a real passion for training and development.
With over 20 years experience in childcare and adult education gained from working in senior management in early years and for training providers and colleges I've developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by these sectors - from funding constraints to recruitment and retention issues, not to mention the struggle to enable staff to actually be able to attend training. I feel your pain!
I work on a personal level and my aim is to offer flexibility whilst delivering high level quality support and training.

Hello, I'm Jill – an experienced senior manager and qualified early years specialist and trainer with a passion for training and development.
The Childcare Trainers was borne from our commitment to support the early years workforce with flexible CPD training solutions including Ofsted recognised childcare qualifications, which can fit in with your needs, timescales and work day.
On a personal level, in my spare time I love to spend time with family, listen to music and travel to concerts in the UK and abroad. Recently, I travelled to concerts in Kazakhstan and Istanbul.
Julie Bright l IQA
Curriculum Director
Hello I’m Julie, an education expert and doctoral candidate with a proven track record in project and stakeholder management within the education sector. With extensive experience in early childhood education, I excel in instructional leadership, curriculum design, and quality improvement.
I have successfully managed large-scale education programmes, developed sustainable education projects for humanitarian efforts, and influenced educational policy at national and international levels. Fluent in multiple languages.
I'm a passionate traveller who thrives on exploring diverse cultures and languages, always learning and seeking new experiences. At home, you'll find me surrounded by loved ones..
Amber Lee
Internal Quality Assurer
An experienced proactive and solution driven Quality Assurer with over 15 years experience of teaching, assessing, curriculum development and quality assuring qualifications, in Childcare & Education including Childcare Levels 1-5, Teaching Assistant, TAQA/CAVA, Education & Training Levels 3-5. I am also a qualified End Point Assessor (EPA).
I have experience of Ofsted including as a Lead Nominee. As a tutor and Assessor, I was graded Outstanding in my practice.
My approach to staff development led to my MA dissertation to focus on the decline of CPD within the post compulsory sector primarily at the differences between public and private sectors.
I am passionate about education and never forget what it’s like to be a learner.
Alongside my roles in education, I am also a grandmother and if I am not running around after my granddaughter, you will find me with my head in the latest crime thriller!
